Deep Loam #1 - The Nomad

A true legend that needs no introduction, the Nomad is, and always has been the benchmark for all other long-travel trail bikes.

Through the Nomad’s entire history, it's sole goal has always been to push the limits of DH capability from a bike that can be ridden all day and the latest version is pure magic.

To ride like a V10, it must work like a V10.

The lower link driven shock is a shorter travel version of the mighty V10's and it delivers beautiful small bump feeling, support in the mid-travel and progression through the full curve.

Basically, it's just rad.

Don't think that because the Nomad descends like a mini V10 that it climbs like one too, you'd be wrong.

The Nomad has always been a trail bike that pedals unbelievably well thanks to Santa Cruz' tried, tested and ever-developing VPP linkage design. Click here for more info on VPP.

170mm travel front & back (or 180mm upfront if that's your thing) for all-round shredding, sending and "get you out of the sh%t ability". This is available in all three frame materials that Santa Cruz offer: alloy, carbon C or carbon CC. Click here to read more about Santa Cruz' carbon technology.

Don't just take our word for it...

"the latest Santa Cruz Nomad is, again, setting the standard against which other all-mountain bikes should be judged as far as descending prowess goes"

NSMB

"The Santa Cruz Nomad is a ripper. The rear suspension offers outstanding performance and remains composed in the roughest terrain. This bike’s handling is extraordinary"

Enduro-MTB

"Hard not to love the Santa Cruz Nomad CC. It looks drop-dead gorgeous, pedals better than most 140mm bikes but you have 170mm to get you out of trouble."

MBR

You pick it, we'll build it.

The Nomad is available in alloy, carbon c or cc options depending on your budget and preference. From traditional metal huck machine to the beautifully finished lighter weight CC frame, each one is built to withstand whatever you throw at it.

The Santa Cruz Nomad C S Kit

An awesome balance of components and cost, the C S kit uses Santa Cruz' Carbon C frame built with Sram GX Eagle drivetrain and Code brakes. Trickle down performance and tech from Srams higher level X01/XX1 Groupsets, it's a perfect setup that just works and lasts without breaking the bank.

Rockshox Deluxe Select rear shock is "set and forget", the Fox 36 Grip Fork can be tuned using volume spacers to dial in the progression and the Assegai front and rear tyres are crazy good!

Any option you choose is covered by Santa Cruz' amazing lifetime warranty on both their frames and bearings. Santa Cruz were one of the first to offer lifetime warranty and the level of support and commitment to their customers is unrivalled by any other brand.
