The Convoy is new for 2020 and uses some of the features seen on Smiths more expensive helmets but thanks to the lightweight in-mold construction, the Convoy is a great choice for anyone on a budget.
20 large optimised vents maximise air flow and breath ability whilst the performance lining creates the ultimate comfort. The Convoy also features MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection system) to reduce rotational forces to your brain during an impact. MIPS is proven to help reduce severity of an impact yet is still not a standard feature on all helmets. To have MIPS® installed on this lower priced helmet from Smith proves their commitment to keeping us riders safe.
The Convoy is available in 3 sizes (S,M,L) which are all separate shell sizes unlike some brands who share a shell size between two sizes (inner pads being used to reduce the size). This means the fit for each size is better and more comfortable and the VaporFit™ ratchet system allows you to dial in that fit for added security. The Convoy also fits and integrates with both Smith glasses or goggles.
