Updated for 2020, the Scrub Select stays true to ION's vision for the perfect mixture of grip, durability, usability and style. We were fans of the original 'Pin Tonic' sole, but ION have upped their game and the new Scrub Select comes with 'Pin Tonic 2.0' - featuring a new profile structure and new super-grippy rubber compound.
ION haven't missed a beat when it comes to comfort or protection either. An Ortholite Eco Plush insole deals with trail-buzz but still offers great pedal feel and feedback as well as great cushioning for big hits. A velcro strap allows for the fit to be fine-tuned and a clever heel and toe tread pattern provides great grip when hike-a-biking. The real Leather upper offers great durability and superb climate control.
Keeping you safe is a reinforced toe box and pre-shaped heel, designed to absorb and redirect impacts from rocks roots and anything else lurking trailside. A mid-top style upper offers additional padding and protection for your ankles and it's a touch we love.
With all functionality boxes ticked, the last piece of the puzzle is making a shoe that looks rad. We think ION have nailed it!
