ORDERS

This is a UK to overseas transaction which does not include sales tax or import duty if the tax free total of your order is more than €150. You, the customer understand you will be liable to pay any required import duty and local VAT, which can be a significant additional cost, on your purchase directly to the shipping agent on delivery. You understand that these charges will be payable and that refusal to accept delivery on the grounds of these charges is not grounds for a return and refund of the products purchased. Should delivery be refused any refund given will have outward and return shipping costs deducted. For accurate estimates of applicable taxes and duties, please consult your local customs office.

Our acceptance of an order takes place on dispatch of the order, at which point the purchase contract will be made. The responsibility for the goods as shipped is ours until they arrive at the customs office of your delivery destination. Depending on your chosen method of payment, you may be charged when placing your order.

At Stif Mountain Bikes we pride ourselves on our superb customer service and here is a typical example of our commitment to you, our customer.

So here's the deal. Return the goods, unused, in the original packaging and within ten days for a full refund or replacement. Under these circumstances we cannot refund any postage charges. DVD's, Videos or food products must have the original seals intact for obvious reasons.

Faulty or Damaged Goods - In the event of you receiving goods which are of an unsatisfactory quality, the goods may be returned (with the original packaging in the case of damaged goods), within 14 days, and you will receive a full refund of the cost of the goods plus all postal charges.

When we have processed the returned goods and your card has been credited, we will confirm this via email.

When returning goods we advise you to return products by recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in the post.

The Stif Mountain Bikes returns procedure does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

‘FOA Warranty’ should be clearly visible on the outside of the box used to return your product. Please also leave a note inside the box with your name/contact details on

Buying after Brexit:

When you purchase from Stif, please be aware that since we are based in the UK, which is no longer part of the EU, you are importing a product from outside the EU into your country.

It has become more expensive to import products and the can costs vary, depending on the country you live in.

Please expect to pay Local VAT + Import Charges + any Administration fees, levied by the courier service. These can be more costly than you’d expect, so please do some research prior to purchase so you are aware of the approximate costs that you are likely to incur when the goods reach customs in your destination country.

It is your responsibility to pay these charges.

Please ensure that when you make your purchase, you are committed to paying the fees mentioned above. It's also worth noting that the time an item takes to clear customs in your country can vary. In most cases the process is almost instant, but we've also heard stories of delays lasting weeks. You will receive a tracking number when we dispatch your order which you can use to check the status of your package. In the event that your order is held at customs we recommend contacting your local customs authority directly.

If the goods are not claimed from the customs office / courier in your country, then they’ll be returned to us, at an additional cost. At this point, we will process a return for the order. Please be aware that any additional fees incurred because an item has been returned unclaimed from customs will be deducted from your refund.
