On the sandwich and hamburger models, there is a new black hard density compound that is more resistant to big impacts and shares the impact to a wider area of the lower density foam.

Toast
Toast is the lightest of the 3 models. Made to be used in XC or light trail riding. The structure consists of a thick layer of soft compounds.
Sandwich
The Sandwich consists of two different compound layers; soft and hard. The hard layer sits right on the rime, preventing the hardest of impacts. The softer compound smooths the small impacts, working as an additional suspension member. The Sandwich is meant to be used on rough trails and enduro riding.
Hamburger
Two hard compound layers with one soft one in between. The beefiest of all the MegaNorris models. Aimed at riding downhill, or enduro racing on the highest level. Pole Bicycles EWS Pro team raced the whole 2019 season without any flats. The performance is well worth the weight.
You'll need to check the width of your rim to see which size MegaNorris will fit. The circumference of your wheels doesn't matter as all versions and both sizes can be cut down to fit 26", 27.5" or 29".

Mix 'n' Match
If you're riding trails with gentle roots and rocks, but without any drops or big rock gardens, you'll be great with a single Toast in the rear wheel.
If you're riding trails with a little harsher trails and putting a bit more pressure and heavier impacts on both tyres, stick a Toast in both the front and rear.
Riding some drops, high-speed bumps, lots of roos and big rock gardens, stick a Sandwich in the rear and a Toast in the front.
Stepping it up again, if you race your local enduro scene and have some pretty hard impacts, stick a Sandwich in both wheels.
Racing EWS, or just riding hardcore and heavy trails nonstop - have a Hamburger in the rear and a Sandwich upfront.
